THE SOUL OF OUR VINEYARD,
THE STRENGTH OF OUR LEGACY

A STORY WRITTEN IN CHAMPAGNE

Champagne DIDIER-DUCOS is a family-run champagne house, founded in the 1950s in Saint-Martin-d’Ablois, located on the southern slopes of Épernay in the heart of the prestigious Champagne region. This unique story begins with Adrien DIDIER, a former resistance fighter and survivor of Mauthausen Concentration Camp, and Yvonne DUCOS, his compassionate wife with a strong connection to the land and its heritage.

Driven by the hope of a fresh start after the tribulations of the war, Adrien decided to produce and market his first bottles of champagne from the vineyard nurtured by his ancestors. Adrien chose to dedicate his first bottles to his former campmates, as well as their families, as a homage to their camaraderie and collective struggle.

This is how the DIDIER-DUCOS winery was established: out of genuine passion, a powerful memory, and a deep commitment to the land and its people.

SEVERAL GENERATIONS,
ONE SAME PASSION

During the 1970s, continuity was ensured with Christophe, the son of Adrien and Yvonne, taking over alongside his wife Dominique. Together, they revitalised the family business while staying true to the house’s original ethos.

Since 2001, the third generation has been at the helm: Christophe and Dominique’s son, Nicolas, with his wife, Clotilde, by his side. The couple now head up the champagne house and are committed to upholding the family tradition while infusing their own vision.

As wine growers and makers, they oversee the entire production process of their champagnes, from the vine to the glass.

Their vineyard, spanning 8 hectares between Vinay and Saint-Martin-d’Ablois, is planted with all three Champagne grape varieties, prominently featuring Meunier – the hallmark grape variety of the house and the defining element of its style.
